Armando Iannucci, one of Britain's foremost satirists and responsible for The
Friday (and Saturday) Night Armistice and many other projects, has written an
article on the great silent-movie comedian Buster Keaton for The Guardian
newspaper. The article discusses the genius of Keaton, and in particular how he
took the techniques of modernism and post-modernism to the field of comedy
pretty much before they were even invented.
