In our experience BBC 1's prime-time sit-com "My Family", starring Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker, is a true case of
love it or hate it. Many praise it's humourous portrait of family life
that any (middle class) family can identify with. Others slate it as a
bland, predictable, sitcom-by-numbers.
To be honest, we at Funny.co.uk find ourselves in the latter camp, and while we're not
about to move our tent we know the show is a favourite amongst many of our readers.
So, putting our own opinions aside we certainly have to give credit where
it's due, that being to the BBC, for producing an excellent official website
for the show's legions of fans.
Alongside a detailed episode guide for the first four series (the fifth is in
production at time of writing) you'll find mini biographies of the main cast
members, interviews with the production team, an image gallery and a
"Personality Test" to find out which member of the family you are most like.
Critics of the show will more than likely be bored to tears by prolonged
exposure to this site, but for "My Family" fans it's a "My Family" heaven where
you can print out a "My Family" wordsearch game, complete it, frame it on your
wall, and treasure it for ever as the centrepiece of your "My Family"
shrine.
