An American Soldier serving in the Gulf War was
driving his girlfriend around Iraq.
Suddenly there was a bump.
"What was that?" asked his girlfriend in alarm.
"Oh, just a rabbit." said the soldier casually. Then there was a bigger bump.
"What was that?" said his girlfriend.
"Just a badger," said the soldier.
After about 10 more minutes of safe driving his girlfriend was just going to
sleep, when there were two huge bumps.
"Can you tell me what the £&*$ that was?" she shouted.
"It was an Iraqi." he replied.
"But why was there two bumps?"
"Well I had to go up onto the kerb to get that one."
