Gunpowder and Cheese

A Liverpool man met the girl of his dreams and after a quick courtship they married. Both wanted children but none came.

In desperation they took medical advice and the doctor said the fault was with the husband who had a physical defect.

Asking if there was a remedy, the husband was told he could either have an operation or he could try including gunpowder and cheese sandwiches in his daily diet.

He opted for the sandwiches which proved most effective. When the man died, he left a sorrowing wife, 17 children and a 60ft. crater where the crematorium used to be!
