Harry Potter fans have flocked to sign a petition demanding that Scottish
comdian Billy Connolly be cast in the next Harry Potter movie. Loyal
devotees to the films inspired by the books of J.K. Rowling feel that Connolly
would be perfect for the role of the evil wizard catcher Mad-Eye Moody.
More than 200 people have already signed the online petition at website http://www.needcoffee.com asking for
Warner Bros to give him the role in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'.
Comments from signatories include: he would be "perfect casting", "fantastic
- he's an underground legend " and "Billy has the oomph and flair to carry this
off".
Connolly has yet to comment on his views of the fans demands.
