Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a Python look-alike? The
Hollywood producers of the movie version of Graham Chapman's life story have
announced that they will be holding open auditions. The film, which is
called Gin & Tonic is expected to start filming later this year, and the
producer Hippofilms is looking for young look-alike actors to play the parts of
the members of Monty Python.
Auditions begin in Los Angeles next month, with directors expected to come to
London later.
Eric Brenner, president of Hippofilms, said: "Our goal isn't just to find six
lookalikes, but talented performers who embody that Pythonic brilliance and
lunacy. We want these auditions to be fun, somewhat silly affairs that Graham
would be proud of."
