One would have thought that the chance to star alongside
one of the biggest names in Hollywood would be a dream come true. Not so, as it
would seem, judging by the reaction from Lucy Davis. The star of "The
Office
" turned the offer down
when she realised after reading the script that it was for a less than desirable
role!
At first it would seem that Lucy, was all for it. "My manager rang me to tell
me I'd been offered the lead alongside Diaz" adding "I was really smug for a
while and thought 'Cameron Diaz's sister… I can do that!'. But when I got the
script it read 'now we meet the fat, ugly sister!'."
The offers have apparently been rolling in and as she
makes her film debut next month in zombie-comedy "Shaun
of the Dead
", we doubt she'll be losing much sleep
over this particular opportunity!
