The voice of Bart Simpson has confirmed what some had suspected - work has
started on a movie length version of The Simpsons.
In an interview with Radio One, Nancy Cartwright revealed there has been a
read-through of the planned script.
Antonia Coffman, studio spokeswoman, confirmed to the E! Online website that
there was no release date, production date or even a title yet, but the script
was coming together.
Cartwright refused to give out any further information, saying that "I don't
know the name of it, and I can't go into details about it, and we'll just have
to see how it goes, but I think it's going to be great and the fans are going to
dig it.
Given the length of time it takes to make any animated work, expect this
story to take at least a year, maybe two, to come to
fruition.
