Ask anyone on the street what their favourite movie of all time is and most people would already have an opinion.  (If they are not already on the street then drag them out onto one, it's really important in surveying terms, we can't emphasise that enough.)  However, ask anyone to name their favourite, or better yet top 10, comedy movies of all time and it gets a bit more interesting.

That's exactly what Choices Video have done.  In a survey of 4,000 movie enthusiasts they found that the most popular comedy movie of all time is....  The Life of Brian.

A suprise?  Well to be honest, we're not sure.  And the fact we're not sure suprised us.  You see, Monty Python's Life of Brian is unquestionably one of the greatest comedy films ever made.  It is also, of course, one of the most controversial.  Upon its release in 1979 it was criticised by many areas of the church and the media.
