Ex-Python Eric Idle is about to start shooting a film-spoof starring big
names such as Patrick Stewart, Geoffrey Rush and Anjelica Huston. The movie is
to be a send-up of costume dramas such as "The Piano" and "Remains Of The
Day".
There are hopes that "Lord Of The Rings" star Orlando Bloom will be able to
fit the film into his schedule. Bloom had to turn down the part that was
originally offered to him by Idle due to clashes with the shooting of his other
film "Troy", with Brad Pitt, but he still may take a cameo role.
"The role that I was looking at is going to clash with the stuff I'm doing on
'Troy'" he said, "There may be a cameo bit I could do, which would be fun but
I'm not sure if it's right, so I'm not set to do that yet."
