For the second time this year Jim Carrey has found himself without a
director. He and Cameron Diaz are currently twiddling their thumbs with
nothing to do after director Barry Sonnenfel walked out on the movie.
The film, "Fun With Dick And Jane", is a remake of a 1977 comedy about a
couple who turn to robbery in an effort to pay their bills. Shooting was
due to start next month, but has instead been pushed back to next March.
Earlier this year the same director walked out on another movie with Carrey,
the comedy "Lemony Snicket", alos just before shooting was about to start.
Columbia Pictures, who are producing both movies, have given no reason for either of
Sonnenfeld's disappearances. We currenly have a Funny.co.uk stalker assigned
to track down Mr. Carrey and smell him. If this line of enquiry
turns up anything conclusive we will let you know.
