Filming has started for a major new BBC comedy-drama series. The show,
which will be called 'Hustle' has been produced by Kudos Film and Television,
who are best known as the makers of the BBC's award winning MI5 series
'Spooks'. Hustle, written by Tony Jordan and starring Adrian Lester and
Marc Warren, is a fast-paced comic take on the exploits of a gang of
convicts set loose on London.
Kudos have described the new series as "Original and distinctive, but above
all it is never afraid to tell shamelessly entertaining stories, presenting both
the audience and the characters with some sexy moral dilemmas and keeping the
viewers guessing right to the end."
The show that will share much of the cinematic style of Spooks (expect split
screens a-plenty?), will be set in London (which is easily locatable on any map
of London).
Filming will complete in November 2003 with it expected to air in
2004.
