Well, no I haven't. However, next Friday BBC 1 have! He's
been confirmed as the guest presenter for the first episode of the new series of
satirical news quiz Have I Got News For You.
A BBC spokesperson said, "It is the first time Jack has been host. It is
going to be a very deadpan show to start the series."
The Beeb have still not found a permenant presenter for the show after Angus
"Snorting cocaine with a prostitute, allegedly" Deayton was politely asked to
get his coat last year.
But then why should they care? The guest presenter idea has been
popular beyond expectations and bumped up the show's ratings considerably last
series. With guest hosts such as Martin Clunes, Charlotte Church, William
Hague and Boris Johnson MP (who's episode, in our opinions, stands as a true
British comedy classic) the producers have managed to "keep the show fresh"
according to regular team captain Paul Merton.
