Neil Morrisey is returning to
familiar comedy ground with the filming of a new sitcom called Carrie and Barry, scribed by Men
Behaving Badly writer, Simon Nye.
Nye (also responsible for Is It Legal?, Wild West and most recently the Rose
D'Or winning Hardware) has upped the
risqué ante to create a series about a couple trying to get on with the normal
trials of life including sex, work, their teenage child and the dwarf lodger. It
is to co-star Claire Rushbrook and Mark Williams.
Recording is to run from June 9
to July 14 and tickets can be obtained by calling Standing Room Only on 020 8870
0111.
