Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, who together form the Perrier Award winning
comedy duo "The Mighty Boosh", have bagged their own eponymously titled
eight-part show on BBC Three.
The pair, who won the best newcomer Perrier award in 1998 and the Douglas
Adams Award for Innovative Comedy Writing in 2001, play a couple of zoo keepers,
at the delapidated "Zoo-niverse", who find themselves on a variety of
surreal and magical adventures.
The series starts on Tuesday 18th May at 10:30pm and the first episode see's
Vince Noir (Fielding) and Howard Moon (Barratt) involved in an illegal Boxing
match against Killeroo, "a deadly kangaroo with a mean left hook", at the behest
of zoo manager Bob Fossil.
