GQ magazine has voted Graham
Norton as worst-dressed man.
For the second year running.
Norton accepted his award with
his usual acerbic wit as he prepared to launch his new show The Graham Norton Effect on
US channel,
Comedy Central which airs tonight (24th June). He joked that the
dishonour is bestowed upon him because of the garish suits he wears for his
shows and that, “these supposedly heterosexual fashion editors at GQ and Esquire
say Orlando Bloom or David Beckham is the best-dressed man. But what they’re
really saying is that they fancy them, because all they’re wearing is jeans and
a T-shirt… they hate me because I'm not beautiful.”
I’m sure there’s something to be
said about him re-evaluating his closet but I’m better than that.
