A new comedy quiz show has been commissioned by ITV1 and Angus Deayton
is set to return to his old-form, hosting duties.
The caustic comedian hasn’t been
behind the head desk since being fired by the BBC from Have I Got News For You in 2002 for his shameful sexploits.
The new six-episode show is being
filmed on the back of a successful pilot made earlier this year. It is entitled,
Bognor Or Bust, and will feature panels comprised of
comedians and ordinary contestants competing against each other with a trip to
the seaside town up for grabs.
It is not certain whether this is the main prize or a
consolation.
