Ricky Gervais helped out his "Office" stars by penning a song for
a new sitcom.
"Toyboyz" - written by Ewen Macintosh, who plays Keith, and Jamie Deeks
(Jamie) - is a sitcom about a hasbeen boyband who are desperately
trying to cling to fame twenty years after their success.
Ricky Gervais has written the song that made the fictional band famous
in 1985, in a sitcom that sees them attempt to reunite after one of their
songs is used in a mobile phone advert.
Gervais had previously helped out the pair when he did voiceovers for the
Edinburgh shows they performed with sketch team Navelgazing. The BBC are
as yet releasing no information about the project, and have said that they have
not yet commissioned the pilot.
