Peter Kays is to go head to head with Matt Lucas and David Walliams for
a prestigious Royal Television Society Award. Kay has been shortlisted for
"Best Comedy Performance" for his role in "Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere". He
is up against Lucas and Walliams for their performance in the BBC's award
winning "Little Britain", and Tamsim Greig for "Green Wing".
Also in the awards, the title of "Best Sitcom" will be fought over by
Nighty Night, Green Wing and Peep Show. Catherine Tate has also been nominated
for a "Best Newcomer" award.
The awards will be hosted at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on 15th
March.
