In what's quickly becoming a trend, comedian Jenny Eclair has been voted out
of Celebrity Fame Academy, following Al Murray's eviction on Saturday.
The show - a format now under threat following this week's review of the BBC
- features several celebrities singing a short song, before a phone vote, judge
vote and colleague vote decides exactly who is removed each time.
Jenny was saved on Saturday night by the judges after an, ahem, passionate
and committed performance, but it seems that lightning would not strike twice as
she waved goodbye. Surely Adrian Edmonsen is now worrying about his
position?
Last year Ruby Wax made it to the last two before losing out. All money
raised by the show is being donated to this year's Comic Relief fund, with the
final of the show being shown on BBC1 on Friday 11th March.
