Sitcom Peep Show is coming to Freeview. Channel 4 have decided to make
digital channel E4 available on the non-subsciption Freeview service for the
summer.
The UK sitcom Peep Show is part of the deal, along with The OC, Smallville
and ER. Not to mention the new series of Big Brother - no doubt the ratings
winner the channel is hoping for.
Channel 4 has said that it hopes increased audience numbers will bolster
advertising revenue, making up for the loss of subscription payments. Freeview
is currently in five million homes in the UK.
