This Sunday marks an amazing achievement - the Simpsons will show it's 350th
episode.
Creator Matt Groening has said he wants to get to at least 366 - "so we have
one for every day of the year, including Leap Year" - and writers are already
working on series 17, which is a US TV sitcom record.
This episode sees Ray Romano (from US sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond) guest
star as the voice of Homer's new best friend, joining an incredible list of
guest stars that have included our very own Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The Simpsons holds the record for the most series on US TV, but it has a way
to go to beat the all time most episodes.
The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet was on air for 435 episodes over 14
years, My Three Sons made 380 episodes, Dalls (357) and Alfred Hitchcock
Presents managed 361 episodes.
