Frank Skinner and David Baddiel are to unite again for a fifth series of
Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned.
The somewhat controversial show, with no scipt and no planning, revolves
around the hope that the two of them, prompted by the audience, can give them
sufficient impetus to be funny.
At the end of each show there will be a musical number, with David of piano
and Frank singing. This section, it must be said, can be particularly variable
in it's quality.
The final piece of the puzzle is a randomly chosen secretary from the
audience. The secretary's job is to keep a track of what's been talked about,
and make sure it's only talked about the once. There have been some real
surprises in the choice of secretary, including a streaker, a shark attack
victim, an author of erotic novels and a penguin keeper.
The show, with it's distinctive opening theme song of "It'll Never Work"
starts on Tuesday 28th of June and runs for 12 weeks.
