The best selling TV Series DVD of last year goes to...Little Britain. The BBC
show, starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, sold more than 1.3m copies in the
UK.
It was also sold to other countries around the world including Iceland,
Russia and Israel, helping BBC Worldwide's profits reach £55 million.
Red Dwarf fans also made a significant contribution, buying nearly 250,000
copies of Series 4 and 5. This DVD release of the whole series in short
intervals is maximising the sales, as customers save up and buy one at a
time.
