David JasonSpeculation of whether or not another Only Fools And Horses special is to be made has finally been laid to rest.

Despite the rest of the cast being eager for another go it has fallen flat because of David ‘Del Boy’ Jason, himself. The Sun was told, “David thinks he’s too old to play Del now,” by Sue Holderness who played Marlene, and even though the show’s writer, John Sullivan, has been trying to convince the 65 year old actor otherwise she added, “I think (John)’s got the message now and sadly there won’t be any more episodes.”

However this isn’t the end of the tales from Peckham that Sullivan has to offer as his spin-off series The Green, Green Grass is due to be aired later this year which follows Marlene and Boycie as they try to establish a new life in the farmlands of Shropshire.
