Little Britain - that oh-so-well known comedy programme so beloved of the
masses (and us, it must be said) - has won yet another award at the National TV
awards. With the show now going out on tour to huge acclaim, it seems that
virtually nothing can stop the juggernaut.
Other winners at the award ceremony included Dr Who for most popular drama,
which goes to prove that the real reason that Prime-Time Saturday TV viewing
figures were down was because there was nothing worth watching, and Ant and Dec
for Top Entertainment Hosts for the fifth year running.
Lastly, the daytime award was won by The Paul O'Grady Show. The show is
pretty much a return to the old fashioned anarchic entertainment that everyone
thought had gone out of fashion, but then if it works, let's see more of
it!
