UK Comedian Peter Kay is the latest person to be revealed as guest-starring
in the new series of Doctor Who. However, he has warned fans that it's not going
to be a comedy turn.
He'll be playing the 'cold and powerful' Victor Kennedy in episode ten. The
part has come about after Kay wrote Russel T Davies, the show's main writer, a
huge letter of appreciation for the last series starring Christopher
Ecclestone.
After that, discussions began over a guest appearance on the new series
alongside Billie Piper and the new Doctor David Tennant.
Other confirmed guest stars include Maureen Lipman, Pauline Collins and Roger
Lloyd-Pack (who is still probably best known for playing Trigger in Only Fools
and Horses).
