Spaced, the much loved sitcom written by Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson,
could well be finding it's way back onto the small screen.
In a Radio 4 interview Pegg said that they'd love to do "maybe an hour long
special, get all the characters together. Do a one hour, finish it all off, tie
up the loose ends and get everyone where they're gonna be."
Talking to Bill
Bailey, who played Bilbo, Pegg's comic-shop-owning-boss, he continued:
"We know where they all end up; there is a history to all of them, including
you, Bill."
The sitcom ran for two seasons on Channel 4, and starred many of the same
people that went on to create Shaun
of the Dead. It was famous not only for it's comedy, but also for the sheer
volume of references and injokes that developed over time.
Pegg is currently working on Hot Fuzz - a police comedy set in rural
England.
