Talk about kicking a man when he's down! Or, perhaps, he's kicking
himself while he's down. Whatever.
It seems that the 'trial separation' Matt LeBlanc is having to endure with
his ratings dropping series Joey (see below) was just a precursor to
his personal life.
LeBlanc is now in the process of initiating a permanent separation with his
wife, Melissa, after three years of marriage (which followed a five-year
engagement). But this is no trial; no, 'I need some space for a while,' or, 'I
need a bit of time to get my head together,' this is out-and-out D. I. V. O. R.

A spokesperson for LeBlanc said, "The dissolution is amicable. They remain
devoted parents and friends." The pair were wed in 2003 in Hawaii and have a two
year old daughter, Marina (Matt, Melissa and Marina - ahh), and the former
British model Melissa McKnight already has two children from an earlier
marriage.
On top of all that is the worrying (for him) news that the rumoured
Friends reunion show has been put on hold because (according to Lisa
Kudrow) a 'male cast member' is quibbling over the proposed pay.
I can't imagine that would be LeBlanc as it sounds like he's going to be
desperate for the work.
