US comedy TV spoof The Daily Show has had a bit of a British flavour
recently, with UK comedian Dave Gorman recording three segments.
Gorman, who first came to fame through his attempts to find other people in
the world called Dave Gorman and then went on to popularise the Googlewhack
phenomenom, recorded two clips about statistics and one about the Queen's
birthday.
Jon Stewart, star of the Daily Show, had seen Gorman perform live during the
New York run of the Googlewhack Adventure show last year and invited him to
contribute.
Gorman wrote on his blog: "I recorded three segments - two based on
statistical analysis, which is the real reason I'm contributing."
Two of the clips have already been shown, with a further one kept back for
future use.
