Ricky Gervais and Ashley Jensen are going to be attending this years Bafta's, with Gervais (alongside Stephen Merchant) nominatef for the Writers award.

However, they'll also be working. Gervais said:

"Everyone else is going on a freebie but I'm working that night. We've set up a new episode of Extras at the Baftas so Ashley and me are going to be filming at the awards. I've already won six Bafta's so that's enough."

"If Extras wins it's a bonus but if not we will get a lot of stuff in the can. I've got a lot of work to do that night."

Gervais plays Andy, a failed actor, in the show. Previous co-stars have included Patrick Stewart, amongst others. We can't help but wonder who he's roped in to guest at a Baftas episode, considering virtually the whole of the British entertainment industry will be there.
