Being in a sucessful sitcom can be bad for your career, afterwards. And when
you've been in Friends, probably the most successful sitcom of all time, then
trying to break away from that can be more than a bit tricky.
Hoorah, then, for Lisa Kudrow (you remember, the silly blonde one) who has
signed a deal to develop programme ideas with US network NBC.
Her first post-friends show The Comeback was axed after just one series on
HBO.
Kudrow may take a starring role in one of the productions. She'll also be
working with her partner, producer Dan Bucatinsky.
NBC Comedy Series Vice-President (now there's a job title!) was quoted: "She
is a great performer and producer, and his is a terrific writer, so the two are
a great team."
