Well loved comedian and former Lily Savage Paul O'Grady has been taken to
hospital with chest pains. A friend said "It does appear he has had a heart
attack."
This is second time the presenter has suffered an attack. In April 2003 he
had to undergo an operation to widen a blocked artery.
Channel 4 said they were "shocked and concerned" and that "along with Paul's
many fans we are wishing him all the very best."
After the first heart attack, O'Grady said he was reviewing his lifestyle and
giving up smoking. Presumably he'll be reviewing it again.
In related celebrity injury news, David Hasslehoff is being treated in
hospital after colliding with a chandelier in the men's room of a London
gym.
His right arm was cut by shards of glass, severing a tendon. A spokesperson
said he was "out of hospital and ready to continue his work tomorrow".
The former Knight Rider and Baywatch star is in London filming an
advertisement for a British internet company.
