The Emmy's are often quoted as being "TV's version of the Oscars", and as
such they get a lot of publicity and winning one can really boost a show.
Will & Grace leads the way for comedy shows with ten nominations,
although UK political romcom The Gil in the Cafe scores seven. Nominations for
Will & Grace include Outstanding Comedy and Best Supporting Actor and
Actress.
