Well there were quite a few chances for UK glory in this year's
Emmys but why bother lingering on what could have been and just get down to
what it was (and usually is).
Will & Grace got some with Megan Mullally winning the
OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A COMEDY SERIES as her role as Karen.
The Daily Show With Jon Stewart got a couple, as did My Name Is
Earl and The Simpsons.
Tony Shalhoub got the OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR IN A COMEDY SERIES award for his
lead as the obsessive-compulsive, PI Monk.
And the US version of The Office nabbed the OUTSTANDING COMEDY
SERIES award.
