Oh no you're not!*
Little Britainer Matt Lucas has finally tied the knot with his
long-term boyfriend, Kevin McGee, at a private ceremony on Sunday (17th
December).
Only 30 guests were privy to the twenty minute wedding service in London.
Lucas had previously stated that he was not interested in commercialising the
event to any celebrity magazines or the like.
After the service at Home House in the West End, the couple travelled to
Whitehall's Banqueting House for the reception. The party had a pantomime theme
and the 400 guests arrived appropriately attired. Amongst them were Nancy
Sorrell and Vic Reeves, Sir Elton John and David Furnish, Will Young, Paul
O'Grady, Barbara Windsor and Graham Norton.
Reeves, Sir Elton and O'Grady all suffered that social faux pas of arriving
in the same outfits. Captain Hook.
Comedy partner, David Walliams, turned up in true alternative fashion dressed
as Christopher Biggins.
Lucas and McGee were relatively understated as the Genie from Aladdin and
Adam Ant respectively. They have been together for four years and will hopefully
live happily ever after.
*It was either that or an 'He's behind you!' gag.
