The Australian jungle. Where all the animals are deadly. The snakes are
poisonous, the spiders are deadly, the frogs are deadly, the scorpians are
deadly. Only the kangeroos appear to pose no risk, although we have
suspicions that they may actually just be using their pouches to conceal light
fire-arms. We can't be sure.
It is here that 10 C-list celebrities were dropped last night, on ITVs new
series of "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here", in hope of boosting their
flagging careers.
The show see the celebrities (who consist of: Antony Worral-Thompson,
Catalina, Chris Bisson, Danniella Westbrook, John Fashanu, Linda
Barker, Phil Tufnell, Sian Lloyd, Toyah Willcox and Wayne Sleep) are made
to live rough in the jungle, while undertaking a series of difficult challenges
in exchange for food. The contestants will be eliminated one by one over
the coming weeks by votes from the viewers, who can vote by Phone, Text, or
Digital Interactive TV.
The next epsiode airs tonight at 9:30pm on ITV1.
