When we say "...returns to C4" we are talking about the television network 'Channel 4', not the the plastic explosive C4, just to clarrify.  Incase any of you had assumed this was a story about someone who used to use explosives, then stopped using explosives, then returned to using them. Kevin Lygo does not use high explosives, or if he does he uses them in the privacy of his own home and we know nothing about it.  Glad we cleared that up, so on with the news-like material...

Kevin Lygo is the television executive responsible for launching shows such as Da Ali G Show, Trigger Happy TV and So Graham Norton in his career, in which he started out as a writer for the Two Ronnies and Not the Nine O'Clock News.  He left C4 (don't make me explain it again!) two years ago to become Head of Programming at Channel 5.  Where he launched many great comedies, of which the names of none immediatly spring to mind.  However, Channel four has now announced that Lygo will be returning to them as Director of Television.  Lets hope this leads to many more years of great comedies being commissioned by Channel 4, and that he avoids the temptation to begin dabbling with C4 or other dangerous high explosives (just say no, dammit Lygo!).
