It would appear than Angus Deayton has run out of drugs and hookers and
has crawled back to the BBC less than a year after being sacked from Have I Got
News For You over revelations about his private life.
He is to appear in a new "dark" comedy drama, "Nighty Night", which has
been billed as "a West Country version of Fatal Attraction". We have no
further details but assume this to mean that there will be a lot of rabbits
getting run over by "combine 'arrrvesters" or drowned in "claaarted cream".
The 46 year old TV personality will play a doctor in the new series which is
to be shown on BBC3 in the autumn before being repeated on
BBC2.
