Rob Brydon seems to have scored an unlikely coup with his new radio show - by
enlisting Sir Elton John as a celebrity cameo.
The singer's spokesperson has confirmed that Sir Elton is going to appear,
but when asked to elaborate said that the details were 'secret'.
Brydon's new show, entitled Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive, casts UK comedy
actor Brydon as an acerbic quiz show host who pours scorn on his celebrity
guests.
Other scheduled guests include Jonathan Ross, impressionist Ronni Ancona and
David Walliams.
Brydon has also confirmed Sir Elton will appear, saying "It's not a hologram
of him or anything". Apparently the cameo came about after the singer was made
aware of the show and "loved it".
