The line-up for the second annual Brighton Comedy festival has been
announced. The festival will give sea-side-dwellers (myself included) a
chance to see some of the top names in British comedy, including Johnny Vegas,
Al Murray, Bill Bailey, Jimmy Carr, Daniel Kitson, Demetri Martin, Jo Brand,
Julian Clary and Dave Gorman.
The 16-day event is sponsored by the Paramount Comedy Channel, and begins on
10th October.
The shows that make up the festival (of which there are nearly
100!), will take place at some of Brighton's top comedy and theatre venues,
including The Theatre Royal, The Dome and one of the South-Easts most popular
comedy clubs: the Komedia.
