| Featuring in cult comedy shows Wild West, Big Train, and The Harry Hill
Show; Catherine Tate has been described as "God's gift to comedy" (The
Observer). Now the 2000 Perrier-nominated stand-up comic will be entertaining
audiences with her own sketch show on BBC 2.
Reviewing her performance at the 2001 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Paul Dale
saw her set as: "akin to being stuck in a lift with Victoria Wood and Jane
Horrocks holding your arms while Caroline Aherne headbutts you with a ginger
quiff: painful and sour but oddly pleasurable... It is not difficult to see why
Tate is such a cherished actress of stage and screen". (The List)
