The recently refurbished Hackney Empire theatre is to host
a charity benefit gig to raise money for much needed Medical Aid for the people
of Palestine. The show, which is called 'Stand Up for Palestine' will be
held at the Empire on Saturday 24th January 2004. Among the many acts to
be featured in the fund-raiser are Jeremy Hardy
, Mark Steele and Andy Zaltzman.
