Eddie Izzard has said that he wants to go to the Middle East to perform a gig in Arabic.  He made the announcement on stage at the Wembly Arena this week, where he was performing his new 'SEXIE' tour.

Izzard was born in Yemen in 1962, where his father was working for BP at the time.  Speaking about the idea he said "My idea is to go to Yemen and do a gig in Arabic.  I am a child of the Middle East."

He has previously done entire shows in French and in German when performing in those countries.
