On 26th December 2003 a large earthquake devastated the ancient Iranian city
of Bam, causing over 30,000 deaths and leaving another
75,000 homeless.
The International Red Cross desperately needs funds to assist the
victims of this disaster. To help raise much needed money, stand up
comedian Patrick Monahan has organised a Stand Up Comedy Fundraiser in Camden,
London.
The lineup will feature some of the best comedians currently on the circuit
including Shazia Mirza, Steve Williams, Jarred Christmas, Nat
Coombs and many more.
There will be no entry fee for the show, but the audience will asked to make
a donation at the end of the night. The event, which will be MC'd by
Patrick Monahan will be held on 2nd February 2004 at
8:15pm, at The Mac Bar (102-104 Camden Road,
London NW1). Telephone 020 7485 4530.
