Some of the country's sharpest, sassiest women including Gina Yashere,
Julia Morris, Lucy Porter, Jo Enright, Sarah Kendall, Shazia Mirza, Francesca
Martinez, Katherine Jakeways and newcomers Ayesha Hazarika and Anna Kierle are
to perform a special gig for "International Womens Day".
The event
-'Funny Women Stand Up for International Women's Day' - will
raise money for "V-Day: Until the Violence Stops" campaigning and helping the
victims of domestic violence.
The show will take place on Monday 8th March for International Women's Day,
and is to be held at the Cafe de Paris in London.
