Ricky Gervais adds London dates to Standup Tour

Gervais has announced that he is to add a string of London dates to his
forthcoming "Politics
" stand-up tour. Last month he announced the
twelve-date tour, which will include dates in cities such as Newcastle, York,
Oxford, Glasgow and Birmingham. He had previously refused to do a tour
outside London claiming "My last live show was in the nearest theatre to my
flat. If I did a big tour I'd probably net about £5 million and it would
be the worst six weeks of my life."
However, the
Office star has now extended the national tour to include more dates that
are indeed much closer to his flat. He will be playing the Bloomsbury
Theatre between May 24th-29th. This is the same venue where his recent 'Animals'
DVD
was filmed.
