Funny.co.uk is to launch it's first comedy club in the Sussex town of
Haywards Heath. Several members of the Funny.co.uk team live in, or
originally hail from, the sleepy commuter town on the London to Brighton line
making it the ideal location for our first foray into the comedy club world.
Through our many industry contacts we hope to bring some of the biggest names
on the London, national and international comedy circuits to Haywards Heath.
The first show takes place on Sunday 12th September at 7:30pm at Evolution on
"The Broadway", an area of Haywards Heath that has rapidly gained a
reputation as the town's trendy nightspot.
Starting as we mean to go on the show features an impressive line up, with
Ian Stone and Pierre Hollins, both of whom regularly headline shows around the
country at venues such as Jongleurs and the Comedy Store, plus Babycham "Funny
Women" finalist Roisin Conaty. The evening will be compered by the
excellent Dan Thomas.
Tickets are currently only available over the Bar at Evolution for £5 in
advance or £7 on the night. For future shows we hope to introduce online
booking.
