The ever lovely Dave Gorman is off again.
Having played his show - Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure - for three
months in New York, he's off on a 96 date tour of the USA.
He's also got a new radio show, but we'll get back to that in a minute.
The Googlewhack Adventure show got him nominated for a US Drama Desk Award
alongside Jackie Mason, Billy Crystal and Barry Humphries, and Time Out New York
rates it extremely highly as well.
He's also won the Best One Person Show at the HBO US Comedy Festival in 2004
and 2001. Nice to see a British comedian doing so well.
Anyway, that radio series. It's called Genius, and will feature a number of
celebrity guest stars, and Dave himself, pondering a plethora of peculiar
prospects suggested by the studio audience.
Guests are set to include Paul Daniels, Richard Madeley, Neil Innes, John
Fortune and Stewart Lee.
Genius should be on the air in late October.
