Workaholic comedian, Ken Dodd, has been immortalised in a painting on
show at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
The 74 year old funnyman was captured by British artist David Cobley after
the pair having met a few times at the end of some of Dodd's shows. Dodd is
depicted in his dressing room as looking, quite frankly, shagged out after a
trademarked arduous gig.
Dodd commented, "The finished image is just how I want to be remembered. I
want people to remember me as a working comedian."
